Mycrof Holmes - I'm living in a world of goldfish by ImperfectSoul Mycrof Holmes - I'm living in a world of goldfish by ImperfectSoul

If you seem slow to me Sherlock,

can you imagine what real people are like?

I'm living in a world of goldfish

Sherlock is back! I'm happy (:

But I'm not entirely happy with the idea that Mycroft is the Smart One. But it did trigger this, so there you go

Seems like quite a literal interpretation of Mycroft's metaphor, but it works :D

Wow, this is amazing!  I love Mycroft, lonely in a world of goldfish.
I am using the Tumblr 'share' button (I found an 'ImperfectSoul' on Tumblr, but I don't think it's you...?)  Please let me know if that is NOT ok, and I will take it down.

According to the original story by the mighty Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Mycroft is indeed the smart one. I'm glad BBC Sherlock decided to stick to the original on this part, because I like to think that Mycroft is the one that created Sherlock into "high functioning sociopath" like now (even though as the story goes, I'm not really believe that Sherlock is 100% sociopath... or maybe that's because John came into his life?)

Even before BBC Sherlock, I already a big fan of Sherlock Holmes by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. And I think BBC Sherlock is one of the best Sherlock adaptation ever!

and I really like your artwork as well
it's so perfect to describing the line :aww:

Thank you very much! I must admit that I havn't read the original. But you seem to know your stuff and as I think about it, it actually makes most sense that way, for Mycroft to be the smart one. (: It was just kind of a whole diffrent way of looking at it that it felt a bit Alien to begin with. But I'm starting to like it more and more.

actually in BBC Sherlock, they put sooo much bigger part for Mycroft, especially compare to the original. As far as I knew in the original version Sherlock/ Mycroft overall relationship is... distant with a lot of respect. there is no so much sibling rivalry like in BBC Sherlock. But I believe one of the main points of BBC Sherlock is to modernize Sherlock, not just simply copy-paste from the original. so it's still acceptable :aww:

Great work! :)
A very interesting character. Sherlock seems disdainful toward him at times, but personally, I think he needs him...just like any man needs his older sibling~

They are quite awful to eachother at times, but I think they both would be lost without the other. Just as siblings should be. :)

In Sherlock's opinion, Mycroft is lazy. However he has referred to his brother "the Government".
So, I do believe he is the Smart One.
Thank you so much for the Mark Gatiss.
I don't think there's enough art on him,
it seems not alot of people think he is as hot as I think he is.

Yes, I guess you're right. I imagine Sherlock to be quite lost without Mycroft. I really liked the scene in Sign of Three where Mycroft represent the logic voice in Sherlocks head during speech.

You're welcome! I guess Benedict Cumberbatch takes most of the spotlight and fangirls, but it's great that the series has so many good actors and characters (:

Somehow I think Mycroft has created Sherlock, drilled and trained him, so that he doesn't have to do things himself. (:

Thank you, then I acomplished my goal :D

I read somewhere that it's not important to make all of a picture detailed, just the parts that you want the observer to focus on, that it actually is benifitial to leave parts blurry. And the lazy part of me just loved that, so it's a motto I live by, don't make more details than nessicary :P
